Therapydia Beaverton Clinic Director Kelley Lindstrom grew up in Oregon and loves to call the Pacific Northwest her home. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Willamette University and then moved to Colorado, where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Regis University in 2013. After graduating, she moved back to Oregon and has been working in an outpatient orthopedic setting since.Clinically, Kelley is passionate about helping patients of all ages and abilities return to a pain free and active lifestyle. As a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) she has established a treatment approach that combines manual therapy, movement retraining, and functional strengthening to treat pain and movement dysfunction. Beyond injury rehabilitation, Kelley focuses on injury prevention and wellness that is achieved through patient education and promoting positive lifestyle changes. As a NCAA collegiate athlete herself, Kelley has a special passion for working with female athletes of all ages and believes that this is truly a unique population with specific needs that often are not addressed.Kelley loves making a positive impact on the Beaverton community she has worked in for the past several years as a physical therapist. Outside of the clinic, Kelley loves to hike and camp with her husband, Alex, and dog, Kai. She also loves yoga, snowboarding, spending time with family, and traveling.

Emily Melzer, PT, DPT

Emily graduated from University of New England (Portland, Maine), receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014. She has been employed in an outpatient orthopedic setting since graduating. Throughout her career, Emily has treated many patients with a multitude of injuries and pathologies. She has developed a passion for rehabilitating ankle fractures, working with runners and in the past few years - postpartum recovery, specifically rehabilitating diastasis recti. Emily, herself, is expecting her first child in May 2020.

Personable, humorous and compassionate, she enjoys connecting with her patients. She brings positive energy and encouragement in the journey to recovery. Emily is adamant that tailoring treatment and plan of care to each and every patient is the difference between standard care and outstanding care. Emily has been working at Therapydia since 2015; transitioning from staff therapist to senior staff therapist at Therapydia Portland and was recently promoted to serve as Clinical Director of Therapydia Lake Oswego in March 2020. She enjoys supporting her team in the effort to provide the best PT experience there is to offer her community. She is passionate about her work and is thrilled to be able to treat patients within a company that supports a one-on-one patient care model. In her time outside of work, you’ll find Emily wandering Portland with her husband looking for the best espresso, spending time with her family in North Central Oregon on her family’s farm or running a half marathon with her best friend.
