info:
Born in Texas, Jennifer has a father that was an archeologist at the Alamo so she got to dig in the dirt with the grad students as a kid. She moved to Santa Fe NM before teen years and grew up there, when there was really nothing for a teen to do. Jennifer graduated from a small high school with a class of 9, but went on to UNM for Biological Anthropology where she actually held a Neanderthal bone in her hand. She moved to San Francisco as the year 2000 rolled around, but then returned to New Mexico to apply to the PT program at UNM School of Medicine. After graduation, Jennifer lived and worked between Denver, Albuquerque, and Santa Fe, then decided to leave full time PT work to pursue a 2nd undergraduate degree in Art History. Random but amazing. She went back to full time PT and, a few years later, was recruited away from the Southwest dry heat for a job in Tacoma and the rain of the PNW.After 4 years in Tacoma, her partner and her decided to bring their 2 fur babies to Portland to enjoy the foodie and artistic scene. Jennifer loves to garden and bake and cook, and watch the rain snuggled on the couch with her furry little knuckleheads. She is excited about the food and art scene in Portland and is looking forward to exploring her new area with her Partner and fur babies.

info:
Danica grew up in the sunny desert of Tempe, Arizona. After getting her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Arizona State University, she then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from A. T. Still University. Following graduation, she traded the SW for the PNW's ocean and mountain cascades, finding a beloved community of friends in Portland. Danica’s 1:1 evaluation and patient-specific treatment approach involves looking at the whole body. She enjoys helping others find and address areas of their life that contribute to the present state of injury and/or impairment. She desires to help her patients have lifelong wellness. She understands how frustrating it can be when injuries occur; seemingly impacting one’s normal rhythm of life. She utilizes therapeutic exercises/activities, education, and various manual therapy techniques as needed to help patients overcome seasons of injury and reach their goals. Her experience as a Doctor of Physical Therapy includes working with a wide range of diagnoses, primarily focusing on outpatient orthopedics. Her lifelong love of learning keeps her continually taking PT courses to sharpen her skills to better serve her patients. Danica is a Certified Running Gait Analyst and has a particular passion for working with runners. Outside of the clinic, Danica loves spending time with friends and family. She frequents the outdoors and the exploration of beauty all around. Some favorites include: soaking up the sun, trail running, dancing, music, surfing, backpacking/hiking, drawing/water coloring, and reading.
