Sabrina Seraj, DPT values continuing education and has attended several courses in specialized manual therapy techniques and movement science principles to advance her skills in the treatment of movement dysfunctions. Sabrina is an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Credentialed Clinical Instructor and Kinesio Taping Association (KTA) Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. She is also trained in and practices the use of The Graston Technique®, a patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively detect and treat scar tissue and other soft tissue restrictions that affect normal function. Sabrina enjoys staying active in dance, yoga, Pilates and hiking.

Emily Melzer, DPT grew up in North Central Oregon, where she spent her summers harvesting wheat on her father’s ranch. Emily received her B.S. in Exercise Science from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon and then continued on to Portland, Maine where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of New England in 2014. Emily spent the first year of her career working at an Outpatient Orthopedic PT Clinic in San Francisco, California where she gained experience with a diverse patient population including those with postural dysfunction due to sedentary jobs, patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, weekend warriors and marathon runners with chronic injuries. Emily recently attended the San Francisco Giants Sports Medicine conference in 2015 where she learned effective techniques to treat the active patient population.

Tony D’Ovido received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University in 2014. While studying, he also worked as a strength and conditioning coach for club sports teams including rugby, ice hockey, and volleyball as well as both the Army and Navy ROTC and individuals of myriad fitness levels. Passionate about continued learning and providing optimal care for patients, Tony completed a Manual Therapy Certificate (MTC) program in 2017, and has continued to develop his hands-on skills in a manual therapy fellowship program starting in 2018. In addition to his experience as a strength and conditioning coach, he is also a certified Olympic Weightlifting coach through USA Weightlifting. His clinical philosophy revolves around strong patient communication and education, expert manual therapy skills, and the prescription of exercise for both rehabilitation and performance. He particularly enjoys working with active individuals and promoting long-term health and fitness through an intelligent approach to training.

Brooke Flood received her doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) from USC in 2007, prior to that she received her bachelor’s degree in physiological science at UCLA and was a member of the Women’s division 1 rowing team. She was an amateur triathlete and worked as a beach lifeguard and ski/snowboard instructor. She enjoys working with athletes and has an emphasis in manual therapy treatment of patients of all ages and abilities. She has continued her post-graduate work and received her certification in orthopedic manual therapy from the Ola Grismby institute in 2010. Brooke is also bike fit certified. Outside of the office Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and their dog. She also enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, running, cycling, snowboarding, kiting and exploring the outdoors.

Jenny earned her Master’s degree in PT from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX in 2002. After graduation, she moved to Denver, CO, and spent 14 years there working in various outpatient orthopedic clinics. Jenny brings a wide range of experience to the Beaverton clinic, treating everyone from high level athletes to chronic pain patients. She’s also completed extensive training with the Institute for Physical Art (IPA), mastering a treatment approach that involves manual therapy for the joints, soft tissue, and viscera, as well as neuromuscular re-education, postural, and body mechanics training. She has experience with running evaluations and recently added a bike fit certification to her bag of tools. Jenny is passionate about getting to the root of her patients’ problems and not just treating the symptoms.

Monica Mai was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Physiology, with a minor in Music, from the University of Oregon in 2012. Monica left the Northwest to attend Western University of Health Sciences where she earned her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2016. She is a certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner, ASTYM™ system provider, and a member of the Oregon Physical Therapy Association (OPTA). She is also currently pursuing her Certification in Manual Therapy (CMPT) with the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).

You Are Covered


Therapydia works with and provides billing for most PPO insurance groups including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, SAIF, United HealthCare (Optum), Tricare and Medicare. For clients with out-of-network benefits, most PPO’s will pay a portion of treatment charges with a prescription from a physician. We will assist you in submitting a superbill to your insurance and you will receive reimbursement directly from them. We update our plans frequently so contact us to get more information about your physical therapy insurance coverage. We also accept cash-based payments.
